Buddhist Temple of Berkeley is a member of the Buddhist Churches of America (BCA), an incorporated religious organization of American Shin Buddhist affiliated with the Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji-ha Hongwanji (Kyoto, Japan) denomination within the Continental United States. The Buddhist Temple of Berkeley provides religious programs, Sunday services and Dharma School. Other events include a New Year's Day Service, Obon Service and Satsuki Bazaar. Publications include the monthly newsletter, PADMA. Office hours: Monday - Friday 10:00 am-1:00 pm; Sunday service is at 9:30 am. Yearly dues and pledge system.
