JASO (ja-zo) is a member-based, volunteer-driven, non-profit organization consisting of corporations and individuals in Oregon and Southwest Washington.
JASO was established in 1907, and is the 3rd oldest Japan America Society in the US.

日米協会は全米の37州にある非営利団体です。オレゴン日米協会は1907年に設立され、アメリカで３番目に古い日米協会です。オレゴン州とワシントン州の南西地区を担当しており、現在、正規職員3名、150名以上のボランティアの方々、120の法人会員、800名以上の個人会員で構成されております。より良い日米関係を築いていくため、お互いの歴史、文化、慣習などを尊重しながら、現地でのビジネスのサポート、教育・文化交流などの活動を行ってきました。アメリカでは、寄付やボランティアをすることで地域社会の発展に貢献するという文化があり、多くの企業が様々な形で助け合っています。JASOでは日本企業様がスムーズに現地の地域社会へ溶け込めるようお手伝いをさせていただきます。
